Welcome to Arbutus Montessori School!
Arbutus Montessori School is a small, friendly school located in the west side of Vancouver. We offer a full-day childcare program for children 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. Our school operates from September to July, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We provide a home away from home where your child will feel safe, happy and stimulated; free to explore the world around them. Here, children's progress is limitless, as they learn at their own pace, guided by our experienced staff.
The school is equipped with a full range of Montessori materials and other complimentary activities. A wide choice of activities for learning and development are available. Montessori learning and play activities include singing, stories, music, art and craft, literacy and numeracy activities, French and Mandarin, local outings and outdoor play.
Our mission is to create and sustain an optimum Montessori environment to enable each child to realize his or her richest potential and to become an independent, self -motivated learner and a compassionate and contributing member of the world community. In our partnership with parents we aim to share our knowledge and experience to support children's development.
